How much to feed a kitten 9 weeks or 10 weeks is about four times daily since their belly is still too small to contain all those required amount of foods when less often. Kittens have small stomachs and high energy needs so they need to be fed little and often. Morning afternoon and evening is a good choice.
Use the feeding guidelines on the food label as a starting point to determine how much to feed your kitten. The kittens can eat kitten foods and they will start to develop preference of foods and it will last for the rest of their life. By the third week they should be started on kitten gruel 3 times a day and bottle feeding continued. Week six feeding schedule by six weeks of age a kitten should be eating the gruel four times a day and nursing less.
At the end of week six decrease meal times to only three times a day. Remember to check their food and replace it four times a day. The gruel should become less and less watery and dry kitten food should be introduced along with a bowl of water. Kittens will need 9 12 meals per day.
You can arrange the schedule to fit in with your own routine although it is best to keep a consistent routine from day to day. However they still have a lot of growing to do so need to be fed at least four times a day.
